Please give me a few good insights as to which would be better.

Expertise reduces the cost of all my Ranger spells and Soul Reaping gives me mana whenever something dies. I honestly don't see any other differences other than appearance and armor.

What does Ranger armor do well? Necromance armor?

i think Ranger primary will have better armour
but necro primary has better mana regen

so if u r thinking about using lots of energy, go for necro
past that, Necro looks WAY cooler IMO

Expertise the ranger primary owns, lower mana cost.

Yeah with 16 expertise you go the equivalent of over twice as much mana. And soul reaping only works when someone dies. R/N toucher would beat N/R anyday in a duel.

For PVP - I'd say R/N (I'm planning on starting a new build like that soon).. for PVE, I'd say N/R - How can you pass up soul reaping in PVE?

Plus, the Necro is just SO versatile.

Necros for style, if thats what you're looking for. But really, Expertise is as much energy management as Soul Reaping is, and it has tons of killer skills linked to it (one of the fallouts of using a W/R.. no access to expertise)
